The CX-2A

is the ultimate machine for the coiling of extremely fine wire from 30 micron to 200 micron, providing the easiest and most precise way of coiling based on the newly developed Feed Unit and Servo Slides combined with precise tool technology.

The CX-2A has 5 axes with 1µm increments as standard; Feed axis, Cut axis, Diameter axis, Push Pitch axis, Arbor forward / backward axis.

Round wire from 0.030mm to 0.20mm. Flat wire from 0.025 x 0.08mm
Outside diameters as low as 0.15mm
User friendly CNC controlled programming system.
Precise, burr free, cut to length control options.
Fully adjustable coil off-load tray system.
Wire cleaning station prior to entering the coiling area.
Microscope, user friendly manoeuvring and positioning
Multiple Coil configuration (Multiple Variable Diameter and Pitch) Up to 5 axis servo motors with 1µm increments.
In-process Retractable Arbor axis allowing complete diameter control (Dual point coiling)
Complete Feed Unit is laterally adjustable by 15mm to accurately position the wire guide relative to specific arbor / point positions.
Coiling point and cutter slides can be rotated and positioned at 5 degree Increments to accommodate custom designed tooling configurations
Typical components produced are Guidewire Coils, Implantable coils, Micro Catheter reinforcement coils, Endoscopic coils.
