Itaya, a leading supplier of Spring machines based in Japan, has entered an agreement with UMAC Precision to further service the medical device sector.
ITAYA , founded in 1947, have served the spring making industry globally with a wide range of world class high quality systems.
In partnership with UMAC the goal is to expand the offering through UMAC’s development of the CX2A models to target the Micro coil markets, primarily in Medical Device.
The CX-2A is the ultimate machine for the coiling of extremely fine wire from 30 micron to 200 micron, providing the easiest and most precise way of coiling based on the newly developed Feed Unit and Servo Slides combined with precise tool technology.
The CX-2A has 5 axes with 1µm increments as standard; Feed axis, Cut axis, Diameter axis, Push Pitch axis, Arbor forward / backward axis.
The feed unit position can be adjusted horizontally (Patent) by 15mm.
